Deputy Physician Responsible for Respiratory Rehabilitation
70-80 %

Your mission:

to be responsible, within the Pulmonology Unit, for respiratory rehabilitation (based at HFR Riaz)

to participate in the outpatient and inpatient care of patients with pulmonary diseases, including at the HFR Fribourg site according to the unit's needs

to supervise assistant physicians and rotating senior physicians and participate in their training
to participate in the teaching of students from the University of Fribourg
specialist titles (ISFM) in pulmonology and in general internal medicine
solid clinical experience in hospital and outpatient pulmonology, including as senior physician or consultant
experience in pulmonary rehabilitation is a definite advantage
experience as a senior physician in hospital internal medicine is a plus
mastery of diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related respiratory disorders, including non-invasive ventilation
dynamic, open and collegial personality

Your profile:

interest in organising pre- and postgraduate and continuing education for doctors and nursing staff

proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language (ability to conduct a medical interview)

Senior Physician of Respiratory Rehabilitation
70–80%

Tasks

You are responsible within the Pulmonology Department for respiratory rehabilitation, which is located at HFR Riaz.

You participate in the optimal outpatient and inpatient care of patients with lung diseases. According to the department's needs, you also work at HFR Fribourg – Cantonal Hospital.

You supervise the rotating assistant and senior physicians and contribute to their training.
You participate in teaching students from the University of Fribourg.
Specialist title SIWF in Pulmonology and in General Internal Medicine
Proven clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient pulmonology, including as senior physician or senior consultant
Ideally experience in respiratory rehabilitation
Experience as senior physician in General Internal Medicine of a hospital is an advantage
Mastery of diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders, including non-invasive ventilation
Dynamism, openness, collegiality

Profile

Interest in organising basic training and further and continuing education of medical staff and nursing personnel

German or French with good knowledge of the other language (able to conduct a medical conversation)
