About the job

• you set up the newspaper printing machines and produce sophisticated newspaper products while adhering to quality and deadline requirements
• you monitor the entire printing process and ensure consistently high print quality
• you independently grant production approval according to internal guidelines and quality standards
• you quickly and efficiently analyse and resolve disruptions in the production process
• you optimise machine settings in terms of quality, performance and material usage
• you independently carry out maintenance and servicing work on the printing machines and their peripheral devices

• you have completed training as a printing technologist, ideally specialising in web printing
• you bring a record of achievement and experience, preferably in newspaper printing
• you are characterised by a strong technical understanding and a quality-conscious approach
• you show willingness and flexibility for shifts in 2- and 3-shift operations, including weekend shifts
• you are accustomed to working independently and responsibly even in hectic situations
• you enjoy teamwork and are distinguished by your precise, proactive and reliable nature
