Pro Senectute is the largest specialist and service organisation for older people and their relatives in Switzerland. For our 4 locations in the canton of Solothurn, we are looking for the following personalities:

We are looking for leaders for our hiking and cycling groups

Do you enjoy leading groups in the 60plus age segment? We are looking for committed leaders, preferably with an esa adult sports qualification, for our hiking and cycling groups in Solothurn and Olten.

As a hiking or cycling leader, you independently plan tours and experience together with older people that exercise is enjoyable at any age.

You bring the following qualities:

• Good physical condition
• Regular physical activity
• Empathy and enjoyment in working with older people
• Sense of responsibility
• Willingness to learn and openness to new things

Information is provided by:

You support and accompany older people in everyday movements. You help them gain confidence and minimise the risk of falling. As a movement coach, you are an important contact person for the older person.

You bring

You want to volunteer, are sociable and reliable, and would like to accompany an older person once a week and do something with them.

Possible activities

• Accompanying for walks
• Light gymnastics indoors and outdoors
• Accompanying with everyday activities, e.g. climbing stairs or handling a walker

Course leader for International Dances in Olten

Do you enjoy teaching groups in the 60plus age segment? Are you enthusiastic about movement and already have a completed qualification as a course leader in dance?

We are looking for an interested leader who would like to lead the course

International Dances in Olten in a team of two.

The courses in Olten take place on Wednesday (09:30 - 11:00) and Thursday (14:30 - 16:00) in the Old Catholic parish hall.

These are dance lessons to music, in which folk dances from all over the world are danced. Our course leaders are compensated on an hourly basis.
