Skills
- Du hast eine Ausbildung in Gastronomie oder Hotellerie abgeschlossen.
- Freude am Umgang mit älteren Menschen, insbesondere Demenzkranken.
- Zuverlässigkeit, Selbstständigkeit und Teamfähigkeit sind wichtig.

The dining halls in the residential groups of Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau are places of encounter and well-being. In a homely atmosphere, our residents enjoy freshly prepared, balanced meals daily and nurture the sense of community.
At the Heinrichsbad location, we are looking for a committed and responsible individual to start immediately or by arrangement as:
- You organise a professional and independent dining service for the residents, working mainly in the dementia residential groups
- You advise and support residents in menu selection, taking into account their individual needs, habits and preferences
- You actively contribute to a pleasant, appreciative and safe dining culture
- You take responsibility for the assigned dining halls and service areas as well as the proper preparation and follow-up of the mise en place for all main meals
- You ensure compliance with operational hygiene concepts and hygiene regulations, adhere to QM requirements and actively support the implementation of occupational safety and health protection in your area of responsibility
- You have completed training in gastronomy and/or hospitality and have experience in refined service
- You approach elderly people, especially those with dementia, with joy, understanding and empathy
- You are a host with heart and are characterised by appreciative manners
- You work reliably, independently and responsibly and enjoy contributing as a team member
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and are willing to work regular weekend and public holiday shifts
