As a security guard, you ensure that work in the track area is carried out safely in compliance with safety measures. Your working day is as varied as your working hours and the different locations you operate along the most beautiful railway lines in Switzerland. Attractive working conditions are important to us, even with irregular working hours. Night and weekend work is additionally compensated – for example, with 16 francs per hour for Sunday work. For night shifts, you also receive time bonuses between 10 and 30%. This means you have more free time than employees without night and weekend shifts.

This is what you can achieve.

• Your responsibility includes protecting personnel as well as materials and equipment from the dangers of railway operations and railway power systems.
• As a security guard, you warn colleagues on the railway construction site of approaching trains.
• You are responsible for setting up and implementing a safety arrangement and direct communication by telephone or radio with the responsible authorities.
• You inform the site managers about any unusual incidents detected in their area of activity.
• You are frequently on the move and perform this activity at various locations in your region.

• For this demanding work, you are ready to work independently, reliably, as a team player and openly in shift work (early, day, night and weekend shifts).
• You are physically and mentally resilient and characterised by a strong safety awareness.
• Ideally, you have completed a basic education (EBA / EFZ) or already have professional experience in a craft, logistics or a comparable field. In addition, you have completed training as a security guard or security chief or are willing to complete it.
• You are skilled in handling various digital work tools (iPad and iPhone) and applications and are willing to continuously educate yourself and learn more.
• Your fluent German skills complete your profile. Knowledge of a second national language is desirable.
• A valid driving licence category B (manual transmission passenger car) and good vision and hearing complete your profile.
