For our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in the Basel region specializing in innovative drug development and analytical research, we are seeking a dedicated professional. This globally recognized organization focuses on the characterization and analysis of small molecule drug substances and drug products, playing a crucial role in bringing life-saving medications from discovery to commercial production.

Your Responsibilities

• Execute and interpret scientific experiments for timely supply of drug substances and drug products 
• Develop and validate analytical methods specifically for peptide drug substances and RLT drug products
• Author and review critical analytical documentation including method specifications, validation reports, and stability studies 
• Coordinate with global project teams and manage outsourced activities to contract research organizations 
• Lead analytical development activities including impurity profiling for RLT compounds through method development and validation 
• Provide scientific guidance to cross-functional teams while driving regulatory compliance initiatives 
• Identify and resolve scientific, technological, and GMP challenges through innovative solutions 
• Support regulatory submissions by contributing valuable input to analytical CMC documents

Your Profile

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent qualification with proven expertise 
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with demonstrated GMP activities track record 
• Advanced proficiency in laboratory techniques including HPLC, LC-MS, and statistical evaluation tools 
• Specialized knowledge in parenteral development, RLT analytics, and peptide characterization 
• Exceptional documentation skills for stability reports, validation protocols, and regulatory submissions 
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring and guiding colleagues 
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset for cross-functional team environments 
• Fluent English proficiency in both written and oral communication
