Ventilation Technician at the Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety of the CHUV is looking for a ventilation technician for its heating-ventilation-air conditioning workshop, with a workload between 80% and 100%, for an indefinite duration.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety of the CHUV (CIT-S) has as its main activities the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance and consulting within its extensive real estate portfolio of more than 40 buildings on the main hospital site.
The 3 main missions of the Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety (CIT-S):
- Construction and modernisation: ensuring the study and realisation of architectural projects, as well as the renovation of technical installations.
- Operation: ensuring the maintenance of all technical and biomedical equipment, as well as the infrastructures of the CHUV and its affiliates. Guaranteeing the production and distribution of fluids and energies necessary for all medical, research, technical and administrative activities.
- Protection and safety: ensuring the protection of property and persons.
Mission
- You ensure the operation and corrective maintenance of infrastructures and technical equipment of medium complexity and criticality, with versatility and partial autonomy within your field of expertise
- You ensure the preventive and improvement maintenance of ventilation technical installations including controlled environment zones
- You manage low complexity technical projects such as ventilation installation renovations
- You keep up to date with technological advances in your area of expertise and handle administrative tasks related to your role
- You participate in the workshop on-call and standby service.
Profile
- You hold a building technical CFC (or an equivalent qualification)
- You have initial experience in the maintenance of heating-ventilation-air conditioning technical installations
- You are proficient with common computer tools
- You have a good command of the French language, spoken and written (minimum certified B2)
- Your place of residence is within 45 minutes of the workplace (required due to on-call and standby duties)
- You hold a category B driving licence.
