The Broker Business Directorate in Zurich is responsible as a market development unit of Mobiliar for the cooperative collaboration with professional brokers. In our Personal Insurance Market Development department, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Senior Underwriter Personal Insurance.

Your Role With Us

As a Senior Underwriter, you assess risks within your competencies in the sectors of UVG, UVG supplementary insurance, and collective daily sickness benefits insurance. You are responsible for preparing quotes and policies and managing your own portfolio.

Furthermore, you develop concepts, conduct negotiations, ensure flawless administrative processing, and contribute directly to the company’s success through your high service quality and commitment towards brokers.

Your Profile

• Completed basic training in insurance, further education at the level of professional certificate/insurance diploma, as well as good business management knowledge
• Extensive several years of experience and solid knowledge in the personal insurance sector and underwriting
• Team-oriented, proactive and communicative personality, convincing through negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Independent, proactive and dynamic working style with a strong customer focus, high personal responsibility and motivation in dealing with our brokers
• Open-minded, reliable and solution-oriented working approach
• Native German speaker, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
