Application Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
Between specialist departments, IT, and suppliers, someone is needed to keep an overview. That is exactly your task. You are responsible for the operation of important applications and drive their further development. You realistically prioritise requirements, coordinate changes and releases cleanly. In case of disruptions, you ensure quick analysis and clear communication to all involved.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation and further development of your specialist and operational applications
You collect and prioritise requirements and manage changes, releases, and updates
You ensure availability, performance, security, and data integrity
You coordinate incidents and problems and provide professional support to the service desk
You keep an eye on service levels and keep application documentation as well as the CMDB up to date
Additionally, you contribute to IT projects and coordinate maintenance, migrations, and training
Qualifications:
You have an ICT education with further training at HF/FH level in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent
You have several years of experience in application support or IT service management, ideally in critical environments
You are familiar with ITIL processes and work confidently in incident, problem, change, and release management
You bring knowledge of modern Microsoft technologies and understand complex system landscapes
You have accompanied digitalisation projects and work well with specialist departments, service providers, and software suppliers
You convince through analytical thinking, personal responsibility, communication skills, organisational talent, and very good German language skills
