Senior Electrical Engineer as Project Manager for the Development of Systems and Components for Rail Vehicles

Our business centre at the Aarau location focuses on the development of pioneering products for the transport and mobility of people and goods.

Area of Activity

With your confident demeanour and solid expertise in electrical and electronic product development, you proactively support the team leader in acquiring new customers as well as securing demanding development projects.
You take on the technical and organisational responsibility for the customer-specific development of innovative solutions and significantly shape the digital future of national and international customers through mechatronic component and system developments.
With your professionalism and strong communication skills, you make a decisive contribution throughout the entire development process – from the idea through conception and detailing to support during the industrialisation of rail-compatible products. In doing so, you ensure high standards of quality and usability.
You accompany your projects from offer support to handover to the customer, take on project management, and simultaneously bring your broad technical expertise in mechatronic product development.
You apply your market experience in electrical and systems engineering as well as in rail technology specifically to strengthen the "Transportation Mechatronic Systems" team.

Requirements

• Completed engineering degree in electronics or mechatronics at ETH, TU or FH level
• At least five years of development experience in the rail industry and/or related vehicle technology
• Experience in systems engineering or mechatronic product development from specification and requirements, conception, development, detailing, documentation, and commissioning
• Strong sales affinity and customer orientation
• Willingness to engage with new topics and technologies
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Certification according to IPMA, PMP or similar desired
• Good written and spoken expression in German and English
• Language skills:
• German C1
  English Level B1
  French Level B1 advantageous
• You have a quick grasp, are flexible and resilient
• You have a structured, independent and committed working style
