In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The integrated treatment offer of the clinic includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special needs educators. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre category A.

Profile

• You have a tertiary educational qualification in social pedagogy HF/FH as well as professional experience in the child and adolescent psychiatric field
• Ideally, you have experience and knowledge in outreach work
• You are interested in a future-oriented treatment offer, are professionally and personally open-minded, approach challenges in a solution-oriented manner, enjoy networked teamwork and value self-reflection
• You are resilient, have good work organisation, a sensitivity for the families entrusted to you and are willing to intervene in the early evening hours if necessary
• You hold a category B driving licence and are willing to actively visit families in the canton of Aargau with a company vehicle
• You speak and write fluent German and have very good communication skills. You are confident in using common Office applications

Tasks

• You support and promote the social and emotional skills and abilities of the patients (aged ?18 years) in an outpatient outreach setting
• You assist the patients in structuring their day and take over the psychiatric-social pedagogical care in collaboration with the case-leading therapists of the interdisciplinary team from the medical, psychological and nursing professions
• In crisis situations, you act competently and provide security to the children, adolescents and their family caregivers
• You share responsibility for implementing the treatment plan
