The WABE Foundation supports adult people with cognitive, psychological, or physical impairments and offers 38 residential places, 30 day care centers, and 20 sheltered workplaces. For over 30 years in Wald, we have been committed with heart and professionalism to quality of life, self-determination, and social participation. The newly created Day Structure Department combines the diverse offerings of the various ateliers and day care centers as well as the sheltered workplaces in the areas of housekeeping and technical services. The goal of the department is to promote participation in social life through structured, meaningful activities and individual support, enabling the supported employees to design their daily lives as independently as possible. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a Department Head Day Structure 80% starting 01.11.2025 or by arrangement. Your tasks
Your profile
- You have completed training in social pedagogy or a comparable field with a recognized degree
- Professional, organizational, and personnel management of the Day Structure Department with responsibility for strategic and operational development
- Leadership of the three team leaders in the areas of Volkshaus Atelier, Day Activities & Paper Atelier, and Facility Maintenance - focusing on cooperative collaboration and goal-oriented management
- Membership in the extended management team, active participation in cross-departmental topics and strategic decision-making processes
- Promotion of the individual development of the supported employees through appreciative guidance, creation of scope for design, and strengthening of self-determination and participation in
Your profile
- You have completed training in social pedagogy or a comparable field with a recognized degree
- You bring extensive experience in supporting people with cognitive, psychological, or multiple impairments and act professionally and empathetically
- Your leadership skills are based on proven experience in team management
- You value interdisciplinary collaboration as a valuable resource and actively and constructively shape it
- Your solution-oriented and appreciative attitude is complemented by an innovative and creative
