Finance and Controlling
The High Court of the Canton of Zurich is not only the appellate authority in civil and criminal matters but also responsible for the independent judicial administration of the Zurich civil and criminal courts as well as for the notary services. It issues the necessary regulations and instructions. In judicial administration, the High Court is also responsible for financial planning and budget execution of the High Court, the district courts, and the notaries.
The Finance and Controlling Department, with over 30 employees, is responsible for the financial and operational accounting of the High Court as well as for controlling the High Court and the twelve district courts of the Canton of Zurich. In addition, the department handles the central invoicing and collection of all claims of the civil and criminal courts as well as the decisions of the public and juvenile prosecutors of the Canton of Zurich.

Your area of responsibility
- Booking of daily incoming and outgoing payments in postal and banking transactions
- Processing business-related bookings in the court's specialized application
- Accounts payable accounting
- Assistance with monthly, interim, and annual financial statements
- Controls under the four-eyes principle according to the competence regulations
- Written and telephone clarifications with courts, offices, and legal representatives
- Reception desk management and handling of (cash) money transactions
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training or equivalent
- Solid experience in accounting is mandatory
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style
- Affinity for numbers and strong interest in accounting topics
- Quick comprehension and service-oriented thinking
- Interest in legal issues and Zurich's judicial system
- Open, loyal, and collegial personality
- Confidentiality and integrity are a matter of course for you
