Cultivation Consultant «SEELAND» for processing
vegetables m/f/d
For 100 years, Louis Ditzler AG has been producing and distributing frozen vegetables, frozen fruits, and chestnut specialties throughout Switzerland. As a market-leading production company, we support our regional cultivation partners from sowing to harvest and focus our efforts on sustainable production. Our offering is complemented by selected fruit raw materials, for example for yogurt or ice cream.
To strengthen our cultivation team for the Seeland cultivation area seasonally, we are looking for a:
Cultivation Consultant «SEELAND» for processing vegetables m/f/d
As a consultant, you will support the cultivation products team in Seeland during the pea and bean season from June to September, with billing based on hourly wages. You will report hierarchically to the head of cultivation and be located in the supply chain area.
Your main tasks:
- Support and advise producers in Seeland
- Monitor and control the crops as well as coordinate the harvests
- Handle and resolve complaints during the harvest
Our requirements profile:
- Completed vocational training and further education in agriculture (experience in vegetable cultivation is an advantage)
- Good organizer and coordinator, can work structured and independently
- Willingness to work mobile and especially during the season, to deal with irregular working hours
- Has an understanding of industrial processing processes
- Team-oriented, communicative, reliable, honest, entrepreneurial, and goal-oriented
- Fluent German in spoken and written form, French spoken is an advantage
