Loader / Spreader Waste Disposal Logistics (80–100 %) including Winter Service

Purpose of the role
The Loader / Spreader supports the driver in the safe, efficient and
customer-oriented execution of municipal waste collections. They ensure the
proper loading of all waste fractions, guarantee safety in
road traffic during collection operations and assist the depot with
general maintenance and winter service tasks including on-call duty with
category B municipal vehicles.

Waste Collection
* Proper loading of refuse, green waste, paper, cardboard and other
recyclable fractions
* Safe operation of the tipping device and monitoring of the loading process
* Checking for incorrectly placed or unauthorised waste and containers
* Assisting with cleaning and maintenance of the collection vehicle
* Securing the collection vehicle in road traffic
* Actively supporting the driver during reversing and difficult
manoeuvres
* Compliance with SUVA regulations and internal safety guidelines
* Consistent wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)
* Cleaning and maintenance of collection points
* General depot tasks (cleaning, cardboard processing, forklift driving etc.)

Winter Service
* Participation in winter service mechanical snow clearance
* Availability for on-call and special deployments

Training
* No completed vocational training required
* Training in a manual trade is an advantage

Physical Requirements
The applicant is:
* physically healthy
* physically resilient
* weatherproof
* able to work day and night shifts
* willing to work in all weather conditions
* able to walk long distances daily
* able to regularly lift and carry loads of approx. 25 kg
* fully fit for work

Language Skills
* German at least level B2 (spoken)
* Able to understand simple written work instructions
* Understand safety instructions
* Friendly communication with the public

Working Hours
Willingness for
* work start from approx. 06:00 hrs
* winter service shifts between 04:00 hrs and 24:00 hrs
* seasonal overtime
* on-call duty including weekends
* Saturday and Sunday work as required
