To strengthen our workshop, you will work closely with our current mechanic.

Main responsibilities:

• Repair or replace defective parts (braking systems, transmission, hydraulics, etc.).
• Adapt or modify equipment according to the needs of the farm (small fabrications, welding, adjustments).
• Carry out mechanical diagnostics on machines.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Carry out maintenance services on agricultural machinery.
• Prepare machines for technical inspections.
• Repair and maintain engines.
• Monitor the need for equipment or spare parts.

Your profile:

• Basic technical training in mechanics, ideally Federal VET Diploma as an agricultural machinery mechanic, automotive mechanic, industrial mechanic or an equivalent qualification;
• professional experience of at least two years in the agricultural, industrial or automotive field;
• strong skills in diagnostics and fault finding;
• proficiency in French, both spoken and written;
• knowledge of welding is an asset;
• organisational skills, thoroughness and autonomy;
• ability to manage priorities and demonstrate versatility;
• ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments;
• availability and flexibility, especially during periods of high agricultural activity.
