Agricultural Mechanic (M/F) 100%
To strengthen our workshop, you will work closely with our current mechanic.
Main responsibilities:
- Repair or replace defective parts (braking systems, transmission, hydraulics, etc.).
- Adapt or modify equipment according to the needs of the farm (small fabrications, welding, adjustments).
- Carry out mechanical diagnostics on machines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Carry out maintenance services on agricultural machinery.
- Prepare machines for technical inspections.
- Repair and maintain engines.
- Monitor the need for equipment or spare parts.
Your profile:
- Basic technical training in mechanics, ideally Federal VET Diploma as an agricultural machinery mechanic, automotive mechanic, industrial mechanic or an equivalent qualification;
- professional experience of at least two years in the agricultural, industrial or automotive field;
- strong skills in diagnostics and fault finding;
- proficiency in French, both spoken and written;
- knowledge of welding is an asset;
- organisational skills, thoroughness and autonomy;
- ability to manage priorities and demonstrate versatility;
- ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments;
- availability and flexibility, especially during periods of high agricultural activity.
