• Leading the approval team in the field of vehicle modernization
• Responsible with the team for approval activities in international modernization projects of rail vehicles, as well as for approval requirements and procedures
• Coordination with authorities, infrastructure operators, assessment bodies, and experts
• Coordination with engineering departments, type test management, and other Stadler service locations
• Developing generic approval concepts for overarching modernization topics on rail vehicles
• Further development of procedures and processes for approval topics in modernization projects
• Advising engineering and product development on approval questions during the sales phase

• Completed studies (FH/ETH/TU) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree
• Experience in approval and technical knowledge related to rail vehicles
• Very good German and English skills (level B2), Italian skills are an advantage
• Open, communicative, and flexible personality with independent, structured, and forward-looking working style
• Affinity for process-compliant use of requirements, verification, and document management systems (e.g., DOORS, Teamcenter)
