- Create and optimise offline measurement programmes based on CAD models using Mitutoyo systems.
- Perform tactile and scanning 3D measurements and ensure proper execution by CMM operators.
- Support and accompany deviation, correction, and improvement processes in production and with suppliers.
- Advise and support internal departments on all metrological and process-related issues.
- Promote professional exchange, collaboration, and knowledge transfer within metrology and manufacturing technology.
- Participate in the introduction of new products, including the creation of product-specific manufacturing inspection plans.
- Conduct initial measurements and validate measurement results as part of new product launches.
- Apply statistical methods (SPC) to monitor, control, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
- Use statistical and quality software, especially Q-DAS, to analyse and evaluate process data.
- Support and provide technical guidance to CMM operators in daily operations.
- Technical basic training, ideally with experience in machining technology.
- Very good German skills and preferably good English skills.
- Several years of professional experience in coordinate metrology, CMM programming, and handling optical inspection systems, ideally with Mitutoyo systems.
- Solid knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings, especially regarding form and position tolerances.
- Good material knowledge, particularly in aluminium and stainless steel.
- Strong skills in mathematics and descriptive geometry as well as good spatial imagination.
- Good knowledge of relevant standards and quality requirements.
- High degree of independence and ability to support CMM operators technically.
- Strong team and cooperation skills in working with different departments.
- Very good communication skills and confident appearance in a technical environment.
- Further training in ISO GPS is an advantage.
- Experience with Model Based Definition (MBD) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
