A globally recognised environmental organisation is seeking a Temporary Communications Officer to join its international communications team during a high-activity period. The organisation works at the intersection of science, policy, and advocacy, and collaborates with a wide network of partners across the globe.
Description
- Research, draft, and edit high-quality written content: news stories, press releases, speeches, blog posts, and policy briefs
- Translate complex, technical information into compelling, accessible narratives
- Liaise with internal experts and external partners to gather and verify information
- Support communications for major international events
- Coordinate content production and publishing, including sourcing visuals and liaising with translators
Profile
- University degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar communications role
- Outstanding English writing and editing skills (native level)
- Experience in international organisations, NGOs, or the environmental sector is a strong asset
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- French or Spanish is a plus
