For our client, a leading professional services organisation anchored throughout Switzerland in the premium segment with multiple locations, we are seeking an experienced and technically profound Senior System Engineer.
In this position, you will share responsibility for a highly available, modern cloud and on-premises infrastructure and actively drive the automation of the IT landscape at one of the most sought-after locations in Zurich.
- Automation & IaC: Designing, developing, and maintaining robust PowerShell scripts as well as implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Terraform, for efficient provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- API & Identity Integration: Connecting and utilising the Microsoft Graph API as well as developing modern solutions in the area of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Operations & Troubleshooting: In-depth system analysis, proactive fault resolution at the 3rd-level support, and ensuring maximum system availability.
- Projects & Documentation: Active participation in strategic IT projects (including cloud migrations), interface work with other departments, and comprehensive updating of system architecture documentation.
- At least 10 years of solid professional experience in enterprise system engineering (Microsoft environment).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS), Entra ID, OAuth protocols, and integration via the Microsoft Graph API.
- Very strong skills in automation using PowerShell as well as practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Analytical, structured thinking with high problem-solving competence in complex technical issues.
- Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form as well as very good English skills (French is an advantage).

- Completed studies in computer science (FH/University/ETH) or a comparable higher IT qualification.- At least 10 years of solid professional experience in enterprise system engineering (Microsoft environment).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS), Entra ID, OAuth protocols, and integration via the Microsoft Graph API.
- Very strong skills in automation using PowerShell as well as practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
