Application Manager Medical Informatics (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take responsibility for the professional support and further development of RIS/PACS applications and ensure stable, efficient operation. You will be responsible for analysing requirements from the clinical environment, designing appropriate solutions, and accompanying their implementation in the existing system landscapes. Additionally, you will coordinate tests and updates, document adjustments, and ensure compliance with defined quality and security standards. In case of disruptions and queries, you will act as a competent contact person, analyse causes, and derive sustainable measures. Through your experience, you will significantly contribute to continuously optimising imaging processes and increasing user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of central medical applications in the radiology environment and ensuring stable and high-quality operation.
Analysis of disruptions and professional requirements as well as coordination of solutions with internal IT teams, medical departments, and external suppliers.
Planning and accompanying releases, system adjustments, and interface changes as well as conducting tests and approvals.
Supporting users in the daily use of the systems and preparing complex technical contexts.
Participation in digitalisation and medical informatics projects, especially in the introduction of new technologies and optimisation of clinical processes.
Qualifications:
Education or further training in medical informatics, computer science, healthcare or a comparable qualification; IT-affine career changers are also welcome.
Experience in application support or in the support of medical or clinical systems is an advantage.
Good understanding of clinical processes, data flows, and system integrations as well as interest in medical IT solutions.
Analytical, structured, and independent working style with a strong service and customer orientation.
Communicative personality with enjoyment in collaborating with medicine, nursing, administration, IT, and external partners.
