About the job
The Dielsdorf Health Center is a modern geriatric competence center with around 500 employees from 35 nations. Our services range from advisory services for elderly people and their relatives to general and specialized long-term care as well as home care and support. With over 200 beds, the inpatient general long-term care offering at the Dielsdorf location is complemented by specialized treatment pathways for rehabilitative acute and transitional care, palliative care, psychiatric geriatrics, and the focus on dementia.
Independent execution of basic and treatment care for residents within the primary caregiver system
Targeted planning and implementation of the nursing process together with the team
Ensuring and continuous review of the quality and effectiveness of care in the department
Responsible for recording nursing measures (RAI-LTCF assessment)
Monitoring and implementation of medical orders/therapies
Taking over shift responsibility according to the duty roster
Ensuring compliance with and representation of internal instructions such as nursing guidelines, standards, interdisciplinary decisions, mission statement, and operational norms
Maintaining contact with relatives, doctors, and other reference persons of the residents, including cooperation with hospitals, nursing homes, and other specialist agencies
Responsibility for sensible, professional, and cost-conscious use and maintenance of materials and devices such as perfusors, infusion pumps, pleural drains, PICC and ports, as well as tracheostomy and medications
- Completed training as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF or an equivalent with SRK recognition
- Good German skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2)
- High social, methodological, and professional competence
- Up-to-date IT skills
- Independent and responsible working style
