Senior Physician or Consultant Gastroenterology

About the job

• Outpatient Clinic: You care for patients across the entire spectrum of general gastroenterology, particularly in the areas of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), hepatology, and functional diagnostics.
• Endoscopy: You perform gastroenterological and hepatological examinations and interventions and are proficient in the common endoscopic spectrum. Knowledge of endosonography (EUS) and ERCP is advantageous but not a requirement.
• On-call Duty: You participate in on-call duties.
• Training: You are actively involved in internal medical training in the field of gastroenterology as well as in ultrasound training.
• In a senior role: You assume medical and organisational co-responsibility for the department and actively contribute to its further development. There is the opportunity to establish and develop your own area of specialisation.

• Specialist Title in Gastroenterology: You hold a specialist title in gastroenterology (FMH or equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland).
• For the senior position: You bring leadership experience and ideally have experience in the professional and organisational development of a team or department.
• Additional Qualification: An additional specialist title in General Internal Medicine is desirable.
• Professional Experience: Experience in interventional endoscopy or another specialisation within gastroenterology or hepatology complements your profile.
• Personality: You are a motivated, team-oriented, and committed individual with a high degree of initiative. You value interdisciplinary collaboration and enjoy actively shaping structures and processes and further developing the department.
