To complete our team, we are looking for a:
Teacher of E-Sport
Part-time: 3 hours per week - 1 course at the La Châtaigneraie Campus; 1 course at the Campus des Nations
We are looking for an enthusiastic E-Sport Teacher for our Culture & Leisure programme. The post holder will be a passionate and dynamic teacher, able to inspire students through a variety of creative teaching styles.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging E-sport classes and training sessions for students of various skill levels
- Teach students game strategies, teamwork, sportsmanship, and digital citizenship.
- Monitor student progress and provide individualized feedback and coaching.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment for all participants.
- Stay updated with E-sport industry trends, games, and relevant technologies.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as an E-sport coach, player, or educator
- Strong knowledge of popular E-sport games
- Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Understanding of the principles of fair play, online safety, and digital citizenship.
- Experience working for an international school would be an asset
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Be able to manage resources efficiently so that teaching and learning is effectively supported
- Have an ability to work in French and English
- Good communication skills with colleagues and parents
