- Operate and maintain complex IT systems of the Reconnaissance Drone System 15 (ADS15)
- Analyse, plan and implement short, medium and long-term strategies to ensure the availability of IT systems (networks, client/server, image transmission, VoIP, virtualisation, etc.)
- Continuously analyse and assess IT risks, define security measures and develop the necessary instructions and regulations
- Manage release management as well as data and configuration management within the framework of OSTR (Overall System Technical Responsibility)
- Design, plan and implement smaller software solutions and train staff in the IT area
What makes you unique
- University degree (Bachelor in Computer Science / Engineering) or comparable education (field of study Information Technology / Electrical Engineering)
- Profound and detailed knowledge of networks and computer systems as well as expected developments
- System administration experience on various platforms (mainly Linux, Windows, embedded systems)
- Ability to holistically assess complex IT issues from various perspectives (security/risks, technology, organisation, requirements, finances), set priorities and develop and pursue graduated solution approaches
- Analytical, cross-system thinking as well as high team and cooperation skills
- Oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as very good English skills
