At the UPZ, you can expect a varied medical role with responsibility, development opportunities, and close interprofessional collaboration. Under senior physician supervision, you will take on diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, get to know the entire spectrum of psychiatry, and be comprehensively supported on your path to becoming a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Your tasks

• Under senior physician supervision, you take on diagnostic tasks and therapeutic case management
• You work closely with your interprofessional team and communicate with relatives and other healthcare providers
• You gain in-depth knowledge of treatment and the entire spectrum of mental health disorders
• You can complete your specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy with us – we provide comprehensive support
• You help patients find a way out of illness towards greater quality of life and self-determination
• You actively contribute your knowledge to the interprofessional team and broaden your own horizons
• You take responsibility as a day, night, and emergency duty doctor
• You make an important contribution to psychiatric primary care in the canton of Bern

Your profile

• You hold a diploma recognised in Switzerland as a physician or have a licence to practise (MEBEKO recognition)
• You are an open, motivated, and committed personality with social skills, empathy, and observational ability
• You value interprofessional collaboration and gladly take on responsibility
• You have good oral and written German skills (at least level C1)
