Manager "Family-Based Care"
Our "Family-Based Care" service is aimed at anyone wishing to become a foster family as well as all families already authorised to care for children.
Your mission:
- Providing information to any family interested in becoming a foster family
- Managing the mandatory training programme
- Managing the ongoing training programme
- Defining the annual programme of informal activities for foster families (picnic, Christmas, etc.)
- Co-facilitating workshops and support groups for families
- Implementing and monitoring support tailored to the needs of families
- Collaborating with the local network (SPAJ, schools, etc.)
- Defining communication campaigns and supporting content development
- Various administrative tasks related to the mission
Your profile:
You are an empathetic, resilient person capable of taking a step back, who knows how to combine interpersonal skills, discernment and the ability to set boundaries.
In your practice, you pay particular attention to the needs and interests of the child while supporting foster families in their commitment.
You are comfortable in complex human situations, sometimes marked by strong emotions or differing viewpoints.
Experience in child protection, foster care, social work or family support is an asset.
You also possess:
- Developed interpersonal skills, ease in communication
- Good knowledge of the Neuchâtel network regarding family support and other resource services
- Ability to work independently
- A sense of ethics, discretion and responsibility
