Our client is a traditional, modernly equipped timber construction company from the Canton of Obwalden. The versatile mixed operation combines carpentry and joinery and employs an experienced team of around 60 staff. For over 80 years, the company has been delivering high-quality work with the material wood. You can expect modern workplaces, interesting projects, and a varied activity in production as well as on construction sites.
For this assignment, we are specifically looking for candidates who already live in the Canton of Obwalden or the surrounding area.

Carpenter EFZ or Wood Processor EBA - Canton Obwalden

To strengthen the team, we are looking for a trained carpenter EFZ or a wood processor EBA for a long-term temporary assignment.

You will work both in the modern timber production and on various construction sites in the region. If your performance is good and the collaboration suits both you and the client company, there is the possibility of a permanent position with the client.

Your tasks include:
- Production work in modern timber construction
  • Manufacture of prefabricated wooden elements
  • Participation in element and system construction
  • Erecting wooden structures
  • Assembly of wooden system buildings
  • Conventional carpentry and timber construction work
  • Participation in demanding conversions and extensions
  • Working according to plans and technical drawings
  • Cutting, processing and assembling wooden components
  • Operation of woodworking machines and hand tools
  • Preparation work in the workshop hall
  • Assembly work on various construction sites
  • Compliance with quality and safety regulations



    • We expect:
  • Completed vocational training as a carpenter EFZ or wood processor EBA
  • Recent graduates are also warmly welcome
  • Residence in the Canton of Obwalden or nearby
  • Already own accommodation in the region
  • Experience in element construction, system construction or erection work is an advantage
  • Enjoyment of varied production and assembly work
  • Manual dexterity and good spatial imagination
  • Ability to read plans and technical drawings
  • Independent and precise working style

  • Reliability, flexibility and teamwork skills
  • Physical fitness and no fear of heights
  • Good knowledge of German
  • Driving licence category B and own car are an advantage
