Job Description
For site preparation, you stake out the construction site according to plans and signal the construction area. Then you carry out the preliminary work necessary for the installation of asphalt surfaces. This includes, among other things, setting drainage shafts and laying sewer pipes as well as gas, water, and electricity lines.You compact the top layer of gravel and sand with rollers until the required compressive strength is achieved. On this base, you lay bitumen-containing mixture either mechanically or by hand and compact it according to standards. The finishing work includes cutting and painting the edges of the surface, adjusting manhole covers and grates to the final surface height, and creating road shoulders.
You may also be deployed for renovation work. This involves removing and replacing old surfaces or carrying out minor repairs.
