YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsibility for all procurement activities of the assigned product groups (car body components made of aluminium) in coordination with the supervisor
- Development and implementation of procurement and awarding strategies
- Leading price, contract, and condition negotiations as well as active supplier management
- Ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and logistics requirements within the assigned product groups
- Active coordination with internal interfaces to ensure smooth collaboration
- Participation in the development and maintenance of a balanced, efficient supplier portfolio for the assigned product groups
- Regular reporting of relevant information and key figures to internal stakeholders
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in industrial engineering or technical basic training with business management further education (HF, FH, or equivalent)
- Several years of purchasing experience in an international, technical environment
- Assertive, negotiation-skilled personality with high initiative
- Strong communication and social skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Proactive, decisive, and implementation-oriented
- Negotiation-level German (C1) and English (B2)
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
