Your Tasks

• Planning, control and monitoring of daily transport and delivery processes
• Monitoring adherence to deadlines and proactive response to deviations and disruptions in daily operations
• Optimising routes and utilisation to increase efficiency
• Maintaining and documenting relevant data in the deployed dispatch and logistics systems as well as in SAP
• Responsibility for data management: recording, maintaining and ensuring data quality in the relevant systems (including SAP)
• Creating and evaluating reports, key figures (KPIs) and statistics to control and optimise logistics processes
• Maintaining master data and monitoring data consistency between various logistics and IT systems
• Creating, maintaining and continuously updating process documentation, work instructions and checklists for dispatch
• Comprehensive documentation of transport processes, deviations and incidents for traceability and quality assurance
• Preparing evaluations and reports for management and supporting internal and external audits
• Close cooperation with adjacent departments such as warehouse, shipping and customer service
• Handling and coordinating customs clearance as well as preparing the required customs and export documents
• Ensuring compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations in cross-border transports
• Handling complaints and contributing to continuous process improvement

Your Profile

• Completed commercial training, ideally in forwarding and logistics services, or comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in dispatch or a comparable position is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office as well as experience with dispatch or transport management systems
• Knowledge in customs clearance / customs formalities and international goods traffic is an advantage
• Strong organisational skills and a structured way of working
• Resilience, assertiveness and a solution-oriented mindset even in stressful situations
• Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly manner towards customers and colleagues
• Team player with willingness to work flexible hours
• Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
