A Specialist in Benefits in Kind for the IV Office
Workload: 80% - 100%
The Disability Insurance (IV) is a nationwide compulsory social insurance. It supports insured persons who are threatened by or affected by disability through reintegration measures. The aim is for the insured persons to secure their livelihood wholly or partially independently. If such (re)integration is not or only partially possible, the IV pays a (partial) pension.
Tasks
- Record, review and decide on benefit applications for IV and AHV aids as well as medical measures
- Check insurance entitlement and obtain missing documents
- Record relevant system data and manage and document the case progress
- Advise affected families in a target group- and needs-oriented manner and refer them to suitable specialist agencies
- Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners
- Examine and process objections
Requirements
- Completed commercial and/or medical basic training
- Very good Italian language skills, spoken and written
- Knowledge of social insurance law at caseworker level; federal professional certificate advantageous
- Medical knowledge advantageous
- Independent, efficient and systematic working style as well as analytical thinking skills
- Appreciative and target group-appropriate communication as well as reliable and discreet handling of sensitive information
- Good knowledge of IV measures and processes as well as willingness to learn and adapt
