Automation Technician with Experience in Control Cabinet Construction and Instrumentation Technology
Tasks
- Wire and assemble control cabinets and compact controllers according to electrical schematics
- Equip and cable electrical and electronic components such as relays, terminals, power supplies, and PLC systems
- Perform functional tests and initial inspections of the manufactured control cabinets before delivery
- Identify and rectify faults in control cabinets
- Support material procurement and scheduling for the production of control cabinets
Requirements
- Completed training as an automation technician with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or comparable electrotechnical qualification
- Knowledge in control cabinet construction or instrumentation technology is an advantage
- Willingness for occasional assignments at the customer’s site
- Confident reading and understanding of circuit and connection diagrams
- Independent, precise, and quality-oriented working style with high reliability
