VR AG has been active for many years in traffic control and communication technology as an independent company in the Swiss market. Our traffic data collection department operates and maintains over 1000 measurement points in Switzerland for our customers. To ensure everything continues to run optimally, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a reliable and team-oriented person for the Traffic Data Collection (VDE) department as:Service Technician: Traffic Data Collection (80 – 100%)
Your profile:
• Completed apprenticeship as an electrical installer EFZ, automation technician EFZ or in a related profession
• Knowledge in industrial electronics
• Independent, precise and solution-oriented working style
• Good PC user skills
• Team spirit and pleasant manners
• Driving licence category B
• Customer-oriented and willing to always stay up to date
• Initial experience in managing infrastructure projects in the electrical sector
• Willingness for continuous professional and personal development
Your tasks:
• Repair work and troubleshooting at traffic measurement points
• Maintenance work at traffic measurement points
• Assistance with commissioning and expansion of traffic measurement points
• Device construction, configuration and commissioning of traffic measurement points in the VDE laboratory
• Evaluations using video analyses
• Assistance with scheduling for repairs, maintenance work, damage cases and installations
• Handling support cases via remote access
• Written and telephone communication with customers and partners
• Responsibility for planning, implementation and control of own projects
