Your Tasks and Perspectives

Patient support: crisis intervention, psychological assessment, assistance with adjustment processes and coping with illness, resource activation as well as end-of-life care
Music therapy: complementing therapeutic conversation on a non-verbal, body-related level with the aims of relaxation, calming, distraction, pain relief and resource discovery
Work with relatives and team support: crisis intervention, psychoeducation and stabilisation in the illness and farewell process, brief interventions and professional impulses for staff in stressful situations
Interdisciplinary collaboration: close exchange in the weekly report with doctors, nursing, chaplaincy, physiotherapy and social work; joint case management
Documentation: daily, structured entries in the patient documentation system according to quality standards

Completed university degree in psychology (completed federally recognised psychotherapy training desired)
Further training and experience in psycho-oncology
Further training and experience in music therapy
Experience in palliative care and/or oncology desired
Committed, resilient, flexible and team-oriented personality with high social competence and initiative

Meaningful work in the existential area of people
Committed and interprofessional teams in palliative care and oncology
Regular intervision as well as internal training in palliative care
Responsible role with scope for design and trust in your professional competence
