To strengthen its teams, Institut Le Châtelard Les Avants SA is looking for a:
Night Supervisor
Reporting to the Boarding School Manager, you ensure the supervision, safety and well-being of the pupils during the night within the establishment. You ensure a calm, secure environment that respects the rules of communal living.
Your main duties
- Ensure the supervision of pupils during the night and oversee their safety.
- Guarantee compliance with the internal regulations and night-time quiet.
- Conduct regular rounds in the dormitories and common areas.
- Manage medical, educational or technical emergency situations according to the establishment’s procedures.
- Provide support to pupils during the night if needed.
- Write night reports and pass on important information to the day teams.
- Collaborate with the educational team, the school nurse and the various relevant services.
Your profile
- Experience in an educational, school, hotel or youth environment preferred.
- Sense of responsibility, calmness and excellent stress management.
- Ability to intervene quickly and with discernment in emergency situations.
- Discretion, confidentiality and impeccable professional conduct.
- Benevolent authority and ability to establish a reassuring framework.
- Good physical condition and ability to work at night.
- First aid training (an asset).
- Excellent command of French; knowledge of English is an asset.
- Clean criminal record required.
- Clean special criminal record required.
Conditions
- Night hours: from 9:45 pm to 6:15 am
- Work during weekdays and/or weekends according to schedule
- Start date: immediately
