Tool Maintenance Technician: Stamping

Unisto designs, produces and distributes attractive presentation items worldwide for well-known brand products and manufactures high-quality security seals. We are a long-term oriented, internationally operating family business based at Lake Constance, employing around 150 people in Horn and over 600 worldwide. For our team in the stamping department, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a suitable person for the position of Tool Maintenance Technician: Stamping.

• Maintenance and further development of stamping tools and peripherals
• Spare parts management
• Setting up stamping tools
• Stamping of stamped parts from a variety of materials and for various applications
• Washing of stamped parts
• In-process control of production including documentation
• Lubricating the stamping press / tools
• Shipping sheet metal
• Cutting sheet metal plates

• Completed training as a toolmaker / polymechanic with experience in stamping and tool assembly
• Experience in grinding, milling, turning on conventional machines
• Good tolerance for noise from stamping machines
• Knowledge of quality management, lean management, 5S and SMED
• Good PC user skills
• Creative doer personality accustomed to working independently
