Role:
In this role, you take overall responsibility for group accounting and controlling in a demanding international environment. You ensure high quality, professionalism, and reliability in all finance-related processes and provide transparent management information. You are responsible for the further development of structures, processes, and reporting tools and ensure their efficient implementation within the group. You work closely with a small, experienced team and significantly influence the company’s financial management through your expertise and commitment. This position offers you the opportunity to apply your experience purposefully and have a measurable impact on strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- You conduct group consolidation for around 30 group companies and prepare monthly and annual financial statements as well as reports according to Swiss GAAP FER, including the management report.
- In this role, you support financial compliance, including non-financial reporting, coordination and further development of the internal control system (ICS), and internal audits.
- You prepare the global transfer pricing documentation and produce the country-by-country reporting.
- As head of group accounting and controlling, you prepare ad hoc analyses and actively participate in projects related to digitalisation, Power BI, taxes, and M&A.
- You manage and optimise the consolidation software (Cognos) to ensure efficient and high-quality financial processes.
Qualifications:
- You have a higher business administration education (university/FH, auditing or controlling) and several years of experience in consolidation and controlling, ideally in an industrial environment, with solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER.
- You are characterised by analytical, conceptual, and proactive work with a high standard of quality.
- You have very good skills in MS Office, Power BI, and SAP; knowledge of Cognos is an advantage.
- You communicate fluently in German and English and prepare complex, interconnected contexts appropriately for the target audience.
- As an open, communicative personality with international interest, you enjoy challenging financial topics and exchanging with group companies.
- You welcome a manageable amount of travel for on-site internal audits as a welcome change.
