What is my role?

You take on the strategic responsibility for a demanding product group in the field of metals and independently shape the procurement strategy

• You develop and implement the purchasing strategy for your product group - aligned with the company goals

• You manage the global supplier network: selection, evaluation and further development

• You negotiate contracts, prices and conditions with international suppliers

• You monitor the global raw materials market, identify trends and derive measures

• You ensure material availability in development and production phases in close cooperation with operational purchasing

• You contribute your expertise to cross-departmental projects and ensure compliance with internal processes and compliance requirements

What do I need to be successful?

• You have completed basic training as well as commercial further education with corresponding practical experience

• You bring solid experience in strategic purchasing, ideally related to metals or raw materials

• You think entrepreneurially, act independently and convince in negotiations with assertiveness

• You work analytically and structured - even with complex supply chains

• You communicate confidently in German and English

• You are an integral personality and enrich the team through your collaboration
