Your tasks
As part of our activities within a laboratory operating 24/7, we are looking for a versatile person capable of working both in the technical sector and in pre-analytical activities. This 80% position is aimed at someone wishing to develop in a dynamic, demanding environment strongly focused on service quality.
What you bring
Your responsibilities
- Perform clinical chemistry, haematology, immunology-haematology analyses according to current procedures.
- Use and monitor laboratory automation, perform maintenance, calibrations, and quality controls.
- Receive and register samples in the laboratory information system (LIS).
- Check the compliance of requests and samples and manage non-conformities.
- Carry out centrifugation, aliquoting, and preparation of samples for analysis.
- Organise shipments to other sites or specialised laboratories.
- Ensure traceability of operations and compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of technical and pre-analytical processes.
- Diploma as a biomedical analysis technician ES or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of biomedical analyses, ideally in haematology and immunohaematology.
- Good understanding of pre-analytical phase requirements and sample compliance criteria.
- Experience with laboratory automation and IT tools.
- Fluent oral and written command of French.
- Availability to work variable hours for a 24/7 laboratory, including early mornings and late evenings, and to eventually join an on-call system.
- Rigor, concentration, and organisational skills are essential.
- Precision, methodical approach, and constant attention to detail.
- Sense of responsibility and ability to take initiative while respecting procedures.
- Versatility and flexibility to alternate between technical and pre-analytical activities.
- Ability to work in an automated, dynamic environment with time constraints.
