Job Description

What to expect

• As a civil engineer in structural design, you will work on national and international building projects and support project management in the static-structural processing of all planning phases.
• You independently prepare static calculations and verifications in structural engineering in accordance with the phase and actively contribute to the development of economical and sustainable structural solutions.
• In doing so, you work closely with the departments of architecture, HVAC, electrical engineering, and construction management as well as with external planning partners – supported by BIM.
• You accompany projects from the preliminary study to execution planning and participate in coordination with contractors and other project participants.
• In addition, you support the implementation of the ATP Green Deal with a focus on energy-efficient and climate-neutral structural concepts.

Qualifications

What you bring

• Completed studies in civil engineering (FH/ETH).
• Initial practical experience in structural design in building construction, e.g. through project work, internships, or several years of professional experience.
• Interest in working on demanding projects across multiple planning phases.
• Knowledge of relevant SIA standards as well as common structural design software.
• Interest in sustainable building, energy efficiency, and innovative constructions.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style.
• Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and a strong solution orientation.
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (English skills are an advantage).
