Assistant metalworker / assembly helper (m/f/d), 100 %

- Workplace: Canton of Lucerne and Central Switzerland
- Workload: 100 %, Monday to Friday
- Salary: CHF 28.- to 30.- gross per hour

You have completed your A-levels and want to work and earn good money before university, military service or a longer trip?
For our clients in the canton of Lucerne, we are continuously looking for motivated and physically fit school leavers, students and young adults for temporary assignments as assistant metalworkers.

You support experienced metalworkers with assembly work on various construction sites. A completed training in metal construction is not required. What matters is your motivation, your manual skills and your willingness to work physically.

For various metal construction companies in the canton of Lucerne, we are continuously looking for reliable assistant metalworkers for assembly work on construction sites. We personally accompany you from the first interview to the successful work assignment.

Completed your A-levels? Your temporary metal construction job in the gap year in Lucerne - CHF 28.- to 30.- per hour

  • Supporting metalworkers and assemblers on construction sites
  • Assisting with the assembly of metal structures
  • Assembly of railings, stairs and balconies
  • Support with facade and glazing work
  • Assisting with the installation of doors, gates and windows
  • Carrying, preparing and providing components
  • Drilling, screwing and fastening as instructed
  • Support with loading and unloading vehicles
  • General helper tasks on the construction site
  • Order and cleanliness at the workplace


    • You work together with experienced professionals on various construction sites in the canton of Lucerne and Central Switzerland.

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You live in the canton of Lucerne or nearby
  • You have good spoken German skills
  • You are physically fit, strong and resilient
  • You enjoy working outdoors and on construction sites
  • You are not afraid of heights and feel comfortable working at heights
  • You are reliable, punctual and motivated
  • You have manual skills
  • You can understand instructions and implement them independently
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • You are available for several weeks or months
  • Ideally, you have a category B driving licence


    • First experience in metal construction, assembly work or on a construction site is an advantage but not mandatory.
