This is what you can look forward to.
You can look forward to working in a highly motivated interdisciplinary team characterised by strong cohesion and broad expertise. We develop the strategy for the portfolio of maintenance facilities, evaluate locations for possible new facilities, and create location and object strategies for all service facilities and plants throughout Switzerland. Benefits such as a free GA travelcard, discounted travel abroad – also for family – can be found on our website under Benefits.
This is what you can achieve.
- As Portfolio Manager: Maintenance Facilities, you take the lead in securing space for the future expansion of our portfolio of rolling stock maintenance facilities through location evaluations.
- You develop location and object strategies and support the development of the overarching strategy for our portfolio of maintenance facilities.
- Within your area of responsibility, you maintain contact with cities and municipalities as well as other stakeholders inside and outside SBB, conduct negotiations, and are always available as the SBB contact person for questions regarding our facility portfolio.
- You actively shape the continuous development process of portfolio management and the collaboration within the team.
This is what you bring with you.
- You want to achieve tangible changes together with a committed team, driven by motivation and enthusiasm. You enjoy self-organised and networked working and make use of your scope for action.
- You work conceptually and think strategically: you develop well-founded concepts, establish connections, and translate requirements into actionable solutions. You proceed in a structured and analytical manner, quickly recognise relevant information, prioritise appropriately, and make decisions based on reliable analyses.
- For this role, we require a degree (FH/Uni/ETH) in architecture or spatial/transport planning, ideally with further training in real estate management, or a similar qualification. Good knowledge of project and portfolio management and ideally of the railway system complete your profile.
- With a confident and empathetic manner as well as strong communication skills, you find common solutions both internally and externally. Your communication is target group-oriented, and you negotiate purposefully with different partners. You are proficient in German at C1 level and ideally have French at B2 level.
