The Regional Association for Social Action (ARAS) of the District of Nyon is seeking, within the framework of its activities related to the application of the Vaud Social Action Law (LASV), for the Regional Social Centre (CSR) of Nyon a
Social Worker (80% to 100%)
The CSR's mission is to receive anyone in need of help, information or advice, to offer social support to assist them towards social and/or professional reintegration, to assess their entitlement to integration income (RI) and, where applicable, to pay the corresponding financial benefits.
Your mission
- Assess entitlement to social benefits in compliance with the Vaud Social Action Law (LASV) and subsidiarity
- Manage RI files in close collaboration with the CSR's socio-administrative managers and participate in the CSR Social Unit's working sessions
- Conduct a social assessment and support beneficiaries in implementing a personalised action plan
- Provide socio-professional integration measures and collaborate with service providers as well as partners in the socio-health network
Do you recognise yourself in this profile?
- Degree from a social studies school (HES) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in social support, ideally in social assistance or socio-professional integration
- Willingness to work within a regulatory and administrative framework
- Knowledge of cantonal and federal social legislation, social insurance, and the Vaud socio-health network
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary manner
- Good listening and communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Analytical and synthesis skills, including in writing
- Stress resistance and adaptability
- Proficiency in common IT tools
