For our client, a leading high-tech industrial company in the canton of Lucerne, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed, precise and quality-conscious individual as CNC Engineer / Polymechanic EFZ for a long-term temporary assignment.
In this versatile key role, you are responsible for the manufacturing implementation and precise mechanical processing of demanding precision parts according to technical drawings and 3D volume models. If you are proficient in CNC programming, setup and operation of state-of-the-art machine tools and enjoy process optimisation as well as quality-oriented manufacturing, we look forward to receiving your application!
Your Tasks
- Independent production of mechanical components according to technical drawings and 3D volume models.
- Creation, adjustment and optimisation of CNC programmes to ensure efficient and highly precise machining processes.
- Setting up, configuring and operating modern CNC manufacturing machines (turning and milling) as well as carrying out production runs.
- Preparation of the necessary tools, clamping devices and operating materials for production orders.
- Inspection of manufactured components with precision measuring instruments and ensuring exact compliance with tight tolerances.
- Creation and updating of process documentation, starting production orders and proper feedback in the ERP system.
- Continuous optimisation of manufacturing processes and active participation in improvement measures.
- Carrying out regular maintenance work on the machines and independently resolving minor mechanical faults.
- Close cooperation with production planning (AVOR), quality control and design in case of process deviations.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed vocational training as a Polymechanic EFZ or a comparable technical basic education.
- Solid practical experience and several years of experience in CNC manufacturing (CNC turning and CNC milling).
- Experience with CAM software as well as in-depth knowledge of common CNC controls (e.g. Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens).
- Confident reading and implementation of complex technical drawings as well as form and positional tolerances.
- Experienced handling of measuring instruments and high quality and responsibility awareness.
- Good PC user skills (MS Office, experience with ERP systems is an advantage).
- Independent, precise and structured working style, high reliability as well as team and communication skills.
- Openness to new technologies (automation / digitalisation) and willingness for flexible assignments on various machines.
