To contribute to your success, your supervision is provided by certified trainers and, throughout your training, internships are organised within the institution or in collaboration with partner companies and institutions to ensure you receive a diverse, innovative and quality education.
The Crans-Montana Clinic, nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, is a hospital site of the HUG. Its hospital missions consist of caring for patients for rehabilitation in general internal and psychosomatic medicine, polyvalent post-operative or post-hospitalisation rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Crans-Montana Clinic holds FMH recognition for general internal medicine and trains internal medicine doctors. It develops academic research projects in connection with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
Job Description
At the Crans-Montana Clinic, the hotel service team contributes daily to the comfort, welcome and well-being of patients. It ensures the cleaning of rooms and premises according to current hospital hygiene standards, participates in meal service in the dining room and cafeteria, and strives to provide a pleasant and quality environment.
As an apprentice manager in hospitality and housekeeping, you will be introduced to and carry out numerous activities within different sectors of the institution. You participate in cleaning and maintenance work, meal and beverage service, laundry management, patient reception at the front desk, as well as some kitchen preparation activities. You also perform various administrative tasks, notably related to stock management and orders.
The variety of tasks offered and the specific requirements of the hospital environment allow you to benefit from a comprehensive and varied training, promoting the development of both technical and interpersonal skills. To enrich your experience, external internships are organised to enable you to discover other areas of activity, notably the professional management of a laundry.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you develop your sense of service, autonomy and versatility, while acquiring the skills necessary to practise the profession, in accordance with your training objectives.
