Traffic Expert
Road Traffic Office | 100% | Chur
The Road Traffic Office is responsible for the traffic approval of vehicles, drivers, and ships, the periodic inspection of vehicles and ships, the issuance of administrative measures against culpable drivers, as well as the assessment and collection of traffic taxes.
We are looking for a traffic expert for the Road Traffic Office / Department of Justice, Security and Health starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement, for Chur.
- As an expert for vehicle and driver examinations, you will strengthen our technical team
- You conduct theoretical and practical driver tests
- You check vehicles for their technical suitability
- You have completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic
- You are at least 25 years old and have several years of professional experience
- This activity requires a high degree of responsibility, resilience, and empathy
- You are strong in communication, decisive, and appreciate direct customer contact
- You are interested in modern traffic topics and are willing to continue your professional education
- Good manners and a customer-oriented attitude characterize you
- Good German skills - knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- You have held a Swiss category B driving license for at least five years
