Apprentice Automotive Mechanic in Vehicle Maintenance CFC - "Commercial Vehicles" Orientation
What does a bus or a train need to move? Electricity, hydrogen, or fuel, certainly. But above all, it needs you and the other 1,500 TPF employees!
Your apprenticeship with TPF is the perfect opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes of public transport. During your 3-year course, you will have the chance to explore the various activities of an automotive maintenance mechanic (inspection, maintenance, problem identification, repair on different types of vehicles) and you will also contribute to the mobility of millions of travellers every year across the entire TPF network.
Throughout your training, you will work 3 to 4 days a week and attend professional courses 1 or 2 days a week. Inter-company courses in the form of modules lasting 1 to 2 weeks will take place each year.
Your profession will mainly be practised indoors, in a maintenance workshop, but sometimes outdoors during breakdowns. Generally, your working hours will be regular. We will provide you with a category C driving licence and you will discover future technologies such as electric and gas vehicles.
