On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a safety officer (M/F).
Your future responsibilities:
- You will manage OHS events, from their reporting to their analysis, and you will coordinate the implementation and monitoring of the measures defined with the various stakeholders. You will also ensure the updating of OHS statistics and indicators
- You will be the reference person for the OHS relay team. You will help maintain a positive dynamic within the group, support the relays in their activities and provide the necessary support for the exercise of their role
- You will advise and support the employer as well as the responsible managers on various topics related to occupational health and safety. You will work closely with the relevant stakeholders on subjects such as RPOs, the application of internal rules, workstation ergonomics or situations related to maternity.
- You will lead and coordinate various OHS projects and activities, including: supervising the provision and monitoring of specific personal protective equipment (PPE); handling requests related to ergonomic equipment and ensuring their follow-up; ensuring the updating and proper functioning of the tool related to job instructions, taking into account developments and needs expressed by production and support functions; ensuring the monitoring and evolution of the tool dedicated to OHS training, according to changes and needs identified within the manufacturing plant
- You will ensure the maintenance and availability of first aid equipment and regularly update the corresponding documentation.
- You will support the coordination of work carried out with the Maintenance and Building teams. You will contribute to their preparation and organisation to ensure that health and safety requirements are taken into account and respected
Your profile:
- You have recognised training in the field of occupational health and safety (OHS): OHS Engineer, Safety Officer, holder of the Federal Certificate of "Occupational Safety and Health Specialist", or equivalent training
- You have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally acquired in an industrial environment, and possess good knowledge of processes and technical environments.
- You have basic knowledge or experience in mechanics and/or maintenance
- You are proficient in MS Office and comfortable with IT tools in general.
- You have a B2 level in English, allowing you to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
- You are a versatile, flexible and responsive person, recognised for your proactivity, rigour and reliability
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, good communication abilities and enjoy working in a team with diverse contacts.
- You know how to manage priorities and stress, especially during periods of heavy workload, while maintaining your efficiency and organisational skills.
- You have good skills in managing operational projects and are comfortable coordinating and monitoring actions until their implementation.
