Who are we?
The EPAC - Vocational School of Craft and Commerce in Bulle provides courses for apprentices in the commercial and craft sectors of the region. It operates a dual system that allows young people to train in a company while attending courses at the vocational school. The commercial section also hosts classes for the Commercial Vocational Maturity, integrated economics type, both full-time and part-time.

Your missions
Your main activities consist of managing the Vocational School of Craft and Commerce (EPAC) in Bulle, subordinate to the Vocational Training Service (SFP). The EPAC provides professional education for more than 1000 apprentices in commerce, retail, pharmacy, and crafts.
- You are responsible for managing approximately 110 employees
- You prepare budgets and financial plans
- You participate with the SFP management and other vocational schools in the canton in strategic reflections and work and ensure their implementation
- You represent the canton in national or inter-cantonal conferences.
Desired profile
- You hold a master’s degree from a university of applied sciences with a teaching diploma for upper secondary level or a DAS in management or equivalent diplomas and experience
- You are familiar with the Swiss education system, particularly vocational training
- You have leadership experience in a management role
- You prioritise your activities and work cross-functionally
- You are goal-oriented, responsible, respectful towards your employees, and ensure your decisions are implemented
- You communicate openly, foster a work climate based on trust, and seek constructive solutions to conflicts
- You implement efficient processes, appropriate structures, and influence the organisational culture through efficient quality system management
- You are fluent in French and also comfortable in German
